PenFlorida District Council Women's Ministry
Bio
Amy was born in 1982 and grew up in South Florida. As a pastors daughter, most of her time was spent in church where she received a firm foundation in the Word of God. At the age of ten, she felt a definite calling from God to spread the Gospel as a missionary to Africa.
In preparation for this calling Amy attended Southeastern University, which equipped her with a knowledge of biblical principles and a deeper relationship with the Lord. Amy graduated with a degree in Education and a minor in Biblical Studies. Both of these specialties will help her in reaching the children of Africa with the Gospel. In addition, Amy has received her credentials and was ordained in the Spring of 2009.
After graduating from college, she worked with Points of Hope ministries to establish an outreach program for children called Kids Street. This program provides discipleship, tutoring, food, and basic needs for children and families throughout Broward County.
Within two years Amy moved from South Florida to South India and began teaching at the International School. While there she was able to teach, disciple, and train others to begin ministering to children across Southern India. After living in India for over a year, Amy returned to the States to teach in Florida.
At the present time, Amy is preparing to go to Zambia, Africa. While there she will be teaching, training and discipling children and many others. We would appreciate your prayers during this time of preparation for both Amy and the country of Zambia.
